Refresh Ministry:
Vision: To be a catalyst for Christ’s restoration mission by showing love and compassion when all hope may seem lost. The Mission: of the REFRESH shower ministry is to provide free assistance in the form of mobile showers & personal hygiene care to those in our community that are struggling. This support allows families and individuals to focus on their personal growth & stability while having a basic need met. Your Involvement: We know that we cannot do this on our own. This is not an "us" thing, this is a "God" thing. With that, we know that God will stir in the hearts of His people, and for some, that stirring will result in a desire to give in the form of a monetary donation or other forms. We also understand that we are called by God to be good stewards of the gifts that we are given. Your generous donations (no matter the amount) will be used to meet the mission and vision of this ministry. Financial contributions can be made online HERE. Westwood Church of Christ:
Who are we: The Westwood church family is a group of people that share a vision to fill our city with the presence of God by filling it with disciples that express the gospel. We believe in living out our faith and that God has commanded us to love each other. This ministry is about helping others, removing barriers, and providing support for those in our community that are experiencing homelessness. It is our prayer that by our action others will feel called to join us in this ministry and future ministries. 'For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ Matthew 25:35-36 |
